December 18th-PTA News

Notes from the PTA Co-Presidents

The PTA hosts a holiday breakfast each year for teachers and staff as a thank you for everything they do.  The breakfast is scheduled for this Thursday, December 21st – many thanks to those of you who have volunteered to bring in items for this meal.  Thank you to Mary Mettee and Jessie Wise for coordinating this wonderful tradition.

Thanks to all the families who participated in the wrapping paper fundraiser and a special thanks to Maureen Taylor for setting this up a second year.  Your support helped raise over $3,000 for Willard PTA!

Happy Holidays to all – we hope the winter break is a joyous and restful one for our entire Willard community.  See you back on Monday, January 8th!

Many thanks,
Marjory Oliva and Nancy Gonzalez

Willard Fundraiser

Our fundraiser this year is Saturday, February 24, 2018.  In addition to fun, food and music that evening, there will be a silent auction with many wonderful items to bid on. Additionally, every year, some of the most popular items to sign up for are what we call BUY-IN parties donated by Willard parents.  For those who are not familiar with them, Buy-In parties are a fun way to support our school, spend time with friends and meet new parents.  They are hosted by one or more parents or families (typically depending on the cost of throwing the party) and are activity or theme based.

Please click here for the forms (In Spanish and English) for donating either an item(s) for the silent auction or providing a Buy In party experience.  Thank you in advance for your generosity!
